Showmax has just dropped the teaser for  Imibuzo , a true crime documentary anthology that will answer your lingering questions about some of South Africa’s biggest news stories from the last decade.  Premiering on Monday, 8 May 2023, the first episode will revisit the 2015 murder of Nkululeko Habedi, better known as Flabba from Skwatta Kamp, the multi-award-winning hip hop group. His girlfriend, Sindisiwe Manqele, was released on parole last year, after serving eight years for stabbing him to death in his Alexandra home. Family, friends, Skatta Kamp members, journalists, investigators and legal experts will give us their first-hand accounts of what really happened.  Imibuzo  is being produced by POP24, part of Media24, who made the reality series  This Body Works For Me , which topped the Showmax Top 20 and Twitter trends charts. POP24 also co-produced the SAFTA-nominated true crime anthology  Huisgenoot: Ware Lewensdramas .  New episodes will drop every Monday until 10 July 2023.

Whilst the real housewives of Durban reality show fans wait for what promises to be a packed and hot two part reunion to air first week of May, it’s reality as usual in Nonku’s life as she puts her focus on her kids. The reality star and businesswoman recently shared a heartwarming video from her eldest child, Nothile’s birthday whom she shares with the late gospel singer Sfiso Ncwane. The proud mama went all out for the sweet sixteen which was held at the North Star Micro Hotel in Umhlanga, Durban. “Nothile’s Sweet 16th… Thank you to everyone for making this a special day for her,” Nonku captioned the video. In a separate birthday post, Nonku gushed about her daughter writing , “Could not have prayed for a more beautiful intelligent daughter…you make me so proud. MaBlerh to host the two-part reunion special, airing on 3 and 10 May 2023 . The Season 3 finale of  The Real Housewives of Durban  dropped on Showmax last week, once again topping the charts on both Twitter and the African streaming service.  During the finale, the ladies drew a line in the sand regarding their friendships. On the one side, Nonku and Jojo have made it clear that they are okay with moving on with their friendship without the other ladies. On the other side, Annie, Slee, Sorisha, Maria and sometimes Sane have formed a friendship that is separate from the two ladies. Mbali has tried to stay on the fence, avoiding taking a stance on the “team” she’s in. The radio and television personality went on a long rant to lash out at her daughter’s haters, who has been subjected to verbal abuse. Taking to her Instagram, Ngcobo-Mzolo said she wishes people could at least acknowledge her daughter, Nomvelo Mzolo’s tenacity and willingness to participate in a beauty pageant. Her daughter has been putting in the work to advance to the ‘Miss Pre Teen’ pageant.
